And nutrition specialist, Olivia Hadland, explains that drinking coffee immediately after waking up harms the human digestive system, even if this behavior is very common.
The expert points out that this damage occurs because coffee is an acidic drink, and therefore, it is not recommended to enter the stomach while it is still empty in the morning.
The nutritionist recommends eating a healthy food before drinking coffee, such as eggs or even fruits rich in nutrients such as berries and apples.
And the harms of drinking coffee in the morning are not limited, before Breakfast, on some tension only, but may extend to the appearance of acne on the face, due to the disruption of hormones.
