A bear in Iraq attacks a girl and eats her arm mercilessly

In a catastrophic incident, a bear in a zoo in the city of games in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan region of Iraq attacked a three-and-a-half-year-old girl, and nearly cut off one of her arms, causing severe wounds.
And the Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate revealed, in a statement, that the girl sustained serious injuries to her arm as a result of a bear attack on her, and she is currently lying in a hospital in Sulaymaniyah, and is undergoing medical care, to be operated on later.
While local media quoted the authorities in Sulaymaniyah, instructing them to open an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, suggesting that the zoo should be closed, to review and tighten its safety procedures.

According to the accounts reported by Iraqi social media platforms, the incident apparently occurred because the girl approached the cage, and inserted her hand through its fence, which includes the attacking bear.
The comments of the pioneers of those platforms on the incident were divided between criticizing the families of the injured girl by neglecting her and allowing her to extend her hand through the cage that includes the predator.
On the other hand, others saw that the responsibility rests with the management of the park, especially since it is located within a game city usually crowded with children, which requires doubling safety and precautionary standards and preventing approaching the cages of predators.
