Prince Harry cries millions as he addressed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, after her death
Prince Harry paid tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Monday, thanking her for her "sound advice" and "joyful smile", in a new statement.
"Thank you for your commitment to serving the country, thank you for the sound advice and thank you for the cheerful smile," Harry said in his statement.
The British Prince added: "As we celebrate the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, and as we mourn her loss, we all remember that she was the compass for many in her commitment to serving the country and her duty to our country."
And Harry added, "Honor and dignity have remained constant throughout her life and have become her eternal legacy," he said.
The prince recalled the Queen's words after the death of her husband, Prince Philip: "Life consists of final parting as well as first encounters."
Harry wrote to the late Queen: "Grandmother, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I will forever be grateful for our first encounters, from my childhood memories with you to meeting you for the first time as a leader to the first moment I met my beloved wife and embraced your dear grandchildren."
Harry concluded by saying: "We are also, smiling because you and my grandfather have met again and you are together in peace now," he said.
