Painter Sacha Jefri executed his painting “The Journey of Humanity” inside the Great Hall of Atlantis, The Palm Resort in Dubai, which he converted into a drawing studio. He spent seven whole months to complete this unique painting, starting from March to September 2020, coinciding with a period of The closure imposed by the world as part of the precautionary measures to combat the emerging corona virus “Covid 19” pandemic, as the talented international painter continued to work 20 hours a day, using 1,065 paint brushes and 6,300 liters of paint to implement the giant painting. This painting was sold for 227 million and 757 thousand dirhams (62 million US dollars) in a charity auction in Dubai to support the children most affected by the effects of the pandemic around the world.
