Dora clarifies and justifies after the attack on her because of a day, a night and her role

A major attack against the Tunisian actress, Dora, because of her role in the movie “One Day and One Night”, which was recently shown on “YouTube”, and caused accusations against her by the Egyptian Nurses Syndicate, offended To the role of the nurse through the character you presented at work.

The calls reached the point of calling for a presidential intervention in order to put an end to the matter, especially since the film - according to its attackers - harms the morale of the "White Army", which is currently fighting a battle with the emerging Corona virus.

In addition, Dora revealed to the Arab News Agency important things about the film and her role in it, stressing that the work was filmed two years ago, and after that it was delayed in theaters.

And she added: “Then it was shown before the Corona crisis, and then it was removed from cinemas before it was recently shown on YouTube. It is a coincidence that it was shown in conjunction with the virus crisis.”

She also made it clear that the work contains many personalities, including the character of the nurse who presented it, and she lives in harsh conditions and does many wrong things, pointing out that they do not abuse the nursing profession, and through that character they do not mean to generalize the matter, especially since it is an exception. She stressed that some people mentioned her nationality, so she confirmed that the author of the film is an authentic Egyptian and is responsible for the characters, and the director is Egyptian, and that she is an artist who presented the role, like all the roles she was offered, to accept some and reject others.

As for her obtaining a greater wage for doing the character, Dora denied the matter, noting that she was paid a normal wage, stressing that the film is humanitarian and deals with some characters who have human problems.

In addition, she added that she presents some good and bad roles on the acting level, saying: “There are roles that have positives and roles that have negatives. I cannot appear in all roles as an angel, I have to diversify, so I agreed to present the character.”

And she considered that the matter was dealt with in a dramatic manner, as all professions in the drama are addressed, and the role was presented before, and she is not the only one who presented a role in this way.

She also confirmed that she had all the respect and appreciation for the nurses, especially that she dealt with them a lot in life, and the role she played had nothing to do with her true personality, pointing out that she had previously presented a series called “Critical Moments” in which she played the role of “Dr. Najwa”, where the work was It gives a very positive image of doctors and nursing.
