The bride of Kafr al-Dawwar ignited a storm that apparently will not subside soon, after she appeared in a video that spread like wildfire, as she imposed conditions on her groom in front of the audience, before signing the marriage contract.

News spread on social media saying that the divorce occurred between the newlyweds following the spread of the clip, but the bride broke her silence and denied the matter completely.

Umniah Tariq, or “The Bride of the Saba,” as she was named after her way of speaking during the marriage contract, in which she directed her conditions to the groom, raising her finger as a threat, according to critics, how she was surprised with her groom and their families by the spread of the video in this way, and also from the negative comments that prolonged her behavior, stressing that she did not You never make a mistake in what you did.
She stressed, in statements to local media, that she had never sought fame, as was reported around her, denouncing the amount of criticism she had received, and said: "I am the only one in my family, and the matter is not easy for me."

She also made it clear that her groom was never upset by her words, but considered it a right of hers, but he got angry after the video spread in this way, and blamed her friend who filmed and published the clip.

In the clip that sparked controversy, the bride stipulated that her future husband should respect her family and relatives and recommended him to her mother.
And she said in the video, "I am confident in our Lord and in you that you will be the best husband, bond and friend, and I regret the day that I chose you, on the contrary, you were the greatest and best of my victories in life. The great, and with all due respect to all my family, my mother, then my mother, then my mother.”
However, this video, with its conditions, sparked controversy among Egyptians on social media.
Many attacked the bride's way, considering her indecent act, especially as she embarrassed her groom shortly before the wedding and in public, especially with the movement of her hand, which gave the impression that she was threatening.
While others saw that this is a natural right that everyone should respect, and they refused to consider what she requested as conditions, but rather the bride's concern for her family amid a testimony from the audience.

In the face of this controversy, the former head of the Fatwa Committee at Al-Azhar, Abdel Hamid Al-Atrash, considered that the girl has the right, as long as she is a sane adult, to condition her fiancé whatever she wants before the marriage contract.

He added in press statements that as long as the girl is a sane adult, she has the right to dictate her conditions to those who wish to contract her before the contract, but rather to record these conditions, noting that the husband has the choice in this case to accept or refuse.
He stressed that if the husband agreed to the conditions of the one he wanted to marry before the contract, he became obligated to implement what he agreed to.
Regarding the criticism leveled at the bride regarding dictating her conditions to her husband in front of the people in the event of the contract, and not personally between her and him, Al-Atrash stressed that the girl has the right to stipulate what she wants from her husband wherever she wants, explaining that in publicizing these requirements in front of people publicity of what she stipulated, and the husband’s testimony With approval or rejection, especially if these stipulations are not written in the contract.
