What is the best solution to stop hair loss?

It seems that the nightmare of humanity that we all suffered from is almost over. British researchers said that they had come up with a new treatment that might help eliminate the problem of baldness, using a drug designed to treat osteoporosis, according to what the Anatolia Agency reported.
The BBC reported that the drug blocks the action of a protein that causes hair loss, and the results were published in the scientific journal PLOS Biology. The researchers explained that there are currently only two treatments for androgenetic alopecia, which are: “Minoxidil” for men and women, and “Finasteride” for men only. According to the team, both have side effects and do not always achieve the goal, so patients often resort to hair transplant surgery instead.

The team treated baldness with another drug, Way-316606, which is designed to block a protein called SFRP1, which is a treatment for osteoporosis.
The team tested the new drug, using samples of scalp hair follicles from more than 40 male patients. The researchers found that the drug also inhibited the protein SFRP1, which blocks the pathway of WNT, a molecule vital to the growth of many tissues, including hair. Promoting hair growth is a side effect of another drug called cyclosporine A, which is used to treat autoimmune diseases.
"The new drug could make a real difference to people who suffer from hair loss," said lead researcher Nathan Hokshaw. "A clinical trial will be needed to see if the treatment is effective and safe in humans," Hokshaw added.
According to the study, hair loss is a daily occurrence, and there is no cause for concern, as some types are temporary and some are permanent. But there are cases that require a visit to the doctor, including: sudden hair loss, the development and increase of bald areas, hair loss in lumps, itching of the head and a burning feeling in the scalp.
