What is the best drink for heart health?

There are those who sell their health with a delicious drink and there are those who buy it with another delicious drink, so what is the drink that you buy the health of your heart with?

A recent British study reported that drinking red raspberry drink can improve in the short term the function of blood vessels in humans.
The study was conducted by researchers at King’s College London’s College of Medicine, and their results were published in the latest issue of the Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics.

To arrive at the study findings, the team monitored 10 healthy males between the ages of 18 and 35. Study participants drank 200 to 400 milligrams of a drink rich in polyphenols, while another group drank another nutrient drink.
The researchers investigated the vascular effects of drinking raspberry juice after two to 24 hours on vascular function. The researchers found that the berry group had reduced aneurysms, a known biomarker of cardiovascular disease risk, compared to the control group.
The researchers also found that improvement in blood vessel function appeared only two hours after drinking the berry drink, and the improvement lasted for 24 hours.
Dr. Anna Rodriguez Mateos, who led the research team, said that berries are rich in a polyphenol compound called (ellagitannins), a type of natural compound found in red berries, which plays a role in improving the function of blood vessels in humans.
She added that "the results of the study need more research to show whether it will translate into long-term health benefits in humans, by monitoring a larger group of participants."
According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases are the leading causes of death worldwide, as the number of deaths from them exceeds the number of deaths from any of the other causes of death.
The organization added that about 17.3 million people die from heart disease annually, representing 30% of all deaths that occur in the world each year, and by 2030, it is expected that 23 million people will die of heart disease annually.
