What is the best way to memorize information before the exam?

If you intend to keep information in your mind for a long time, then you should stop memorizing, studying that interests school and university students whose exams are approaching,
A recent British study reported that taking a quiet rest, for 10 minutes, after learning something new, helps the brain to store minute details, and the ability to retrieve them easily in the future.
The study was conducted by researchers at Heriot-Watt University, Britain, and published their results, Sunday, in the scientific journal Nature Scientific Reports.

The researchers explained that sleep and memory go hand in hand Good sleep prevents forgetting mechanisms in the brain, facilitating memory formation.
They revealed that during sleep, synapses in the brain relax and remain flexible, maintaining the brain's neuroplasticity and ability to learn.
The researchers studied the effectiveness of taking a quiet rest by closing the eyes without entering a deep sleep for 10 minutes, on remembering the minute details after learning.
The team designed a memory test to assess the ability to retain highly accurate information, asking 60 young males and females, with an average age of 21, looking at a set of pictures.
The researchers asked participants to distinguish between old photos and other similar photos, to monitor the participants' ability to maintain very subtle differences between the two groups.
The researchers found that the group that took a quiet rest for 10 minutes after looking at the pictures, was able to detect subtle differences between the similar pictures, compared to the other group.
Lead researcher Dr Michael Craig said the resting group stored more detailed memories than the restless group.
He added that this new finding provides the first evidence that a short and period of quiet rest can help us retain more detailed memories.
"We believe that quiet rest is beneficial because it helps strengthen new memories in the brain, possibly by supporting their spontaneous reactivation."
He pointed out that research shows that taking a simple rest after learning strengthens new, weak memories by reactivating these memories, as brain activity appears for the first time during learning again in the minutes following the learning process.
