We are in danger of annihilation!!!!!!

No, everyone started talking about the problem of pollution and global warming that killed millions and displaced others, but did you know that you too, yes you, are at risk of disappearing, as is the world we inhabit, let us tell you why,,, After scientists stated that forests and deserts The world's basic vital systems may undergo a "massive transformation" over the next century due to climate change.

Changes have begun to be recorded in the southwestern United States, where large-scale fires are coming over large areas of forests.

Over the next century or century and a half, these changes will extend to grassy plains (savanna) and deserts, affecting vital systems and threatening animals and plants in the United States and Europe in particular, according to the study published in the journal "Science".

"If climate change remains out of control, the plants in our world will look very different from what they do today, which poses a huge threat to the diversity of the world," said Jonathan Overbeck, dean of the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan.

The study is based on fossils and temperature records related to a phase that began 21 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age, when the Earth's temperature rose by 4 to 7 degrees Celsius.

Experts stressed that the outlook is cautious, because this ancient warming is due to natural fluctuations and over a much longer period.

Stephen Jackson, director of the Southwest Climate Adaptation Center of the US Geological Institute, said, "We are talking about the same amount of change that occurred previously over a period of ten to twenty thousand years and is now expected to occur within a century or two." Ecosystems must speed up their adaptation.”

The scientists consider that their work, which was conducted on the basis of data taken from about 600 sites, is the most comprehensive so far in this field. It included all continents except Antarctica.

The major changes were observed at medium and high altitudes in North America, Europe and southern South America. These areas are covered with ice, and the temperature has increased more than others with the development of the climate.

Scientists report that if greenhouse gas emissions do not exceed the ceiling set in the 2015 Paris Agreement, “the probability that vegetation cover will change on a large scale will be less than 45%.” But if no efforts are made, the probability is more than 60%.

This change will not only affect forests, but also the cycle of water formation.
