 Part of the Yas Marina Circuit track, which was specifically designed to host the World Rallycross Championship, with a distance of 1.2 km, will witness the participation of cars with two-liter engines equipped with turbochargers that give them up to 600 horsepower transmitted to all wheels, and they accelerate from stability to 100 km / h in 1.9 seconds, i.e. They are faster than Formula 1 cars.

 The weekend race (Friday) that marked the start of the practice and qualifying races (stages one and two) bore the title of fun, promising intense competition as thousands of fans entertained on the north runway of the Yas Marina Circuit.

 Rallycross races provide an experience full of fun and excitement, as a group of talented drivers participate in short-time races that do not stop the excitement on the track with sharp turns, which adds more fun, especially when the cars come into contact with each other in search of points that add to the drivers’ yield and ensure their progress in order Championship year.

 The competition continues until Saturday at the Yas Marina Circuit, where the third and fourth qualifying races for the World Rallycross Championship will take place, and the qualified drivers will compete in the semi-final stage, bringing the curtain down in Abu Dhabi with the final race.

 The semi-final race sees six drivers in three rows compete on the starting line in each of the six-lap middle-ranking races. Twelve drivers qualify for the two semi-finals, and the top three finishers will then advance to the final race.

 The final race consists of six laps, in which six drivers participate, and the order of lining up on the starting line is according to the time achieved by the drivers during the two semi-final races.

The Rallycross includes a sub-track that can add two seconds to the lap time, and all drivers are required to pass this track at least one pass in each weekend race, including qualifying races, semi-finals and the final race. Championship races.
