We say about a person that he is one of the difficult personalities when he is inflexible in dealing with people, so it is difficult to deal with him or discuss with him in a matter that is far from his beliefs.

1- Listen to him and tell him that you are listening to his advice, because a difficult person gives a lot of advice.

2- Do not try to illuminate him with what he may not know or try to correct what he says, even if you are sure that he is wrong.

3- The difficult person wants to appear as a strong and influential personality, so he acts in an irrational way, as this is a reaction from him towards his weakness and inner fear, try to understand what he is going through.

4- He often makes illogical judgments about situations and people, so do not act with him in a defensive manner, let him say what he wants and wait for the right time to respond indirectly.

5- Talk to him about what he likes to hear and do not neglect compliments, as he needs them very much.

6- If you have to discuss it, then you should support your point of view with evidence to respond to his objections.
