Definition of negative thinking:

Negative thinking is defined as a pessimistic view of things and an exaggerated negative evaluation of situations. Negative thoughts come as a result of situations that occur to an individual in his work environment, his family, or his school, and their intensity increases if the individual is not fully confident in himself.

  Reasons for negative thinking:

 Sarcasm and negative criticism that a person may be exposed to from the environment around him.
Low self-confidence and fear of failure to complete the tasks assigned by others.
Making a comparison between the person and other superior people, so he feels frustrated at not reaching the successes and achievements of others.
A pessimistic view of events and situations and a negative interpretation of them.
Fears and doubts about what the future holds.
Listening to sad songs and movies and emotional excitement while watching or listening to them.
Focusing on negative world events such as wars, disasters and crises.

Self-esteem with all its talents and advantages, and thus an increase in self-confidence.

Getting rid of nervousness, tension and irritability and resorting to relaxation and calm.

Controlling thoughts that come to mind and getting rid of bad and negative ones.

Mixing with and being influenced by positive, cheerful and life-loving individuals. Positive thoughts and a sense of humor are contagious.

Mixing with people and avoiding isolation as much as possible.

Distraction from focusing on defects, weaknesses, and shortcomings in personality.
