How can we raise the level of intelligence of the child?

Successful people are believed to have a higher IQ and it is normal for parents to want their children to have a higher IQ as well. But are children born with higher IQs, or can it be developed through some activities?

According to a report in the Times of India, a child's intelligence can be greatly enhanced in the formative years through the following activities:

1- Doing sports

Several studies have shown that exercise enhances brain activity that releases endorphins in the body, thus enhancing brain function and capacity. Get your child to practice any sport and make sure he enjoys it fully as well to get the maximum benefits.

2- Random Mathematical Calculations

A parent can ask the child to solve some simple math problems randomly throughout the day, taking care not to exaggerate so as not to become alienated. This method can become a fun activity and note that it can be just simple math like 1 + 1, which will greatly improve your brain function.

3- Playing a musical instrument

Musical instruments have a lot of arithmetic in their general functioning, and when you make your child learn an instrument, he also learns nuances and spatial reasoning skills. Scientifically, playing musical instruments like violin, piano and drums are all great for a child's overall development and confidence.

4- Solve puzzles

A child spending up to 10 minutes a day solving puzzles can be very beneficial for their brain health.

5- Breathing exercises

Deep breathing exercises are very beneficial for children, as well as for adults. Breathing training allows children to filter their thoughts and get clearer thinking. It also enhances their concentration power.

A recent study also revealed that when children meditate for 10 minutes, their brains develop and grow well, brain scan results show.

Experts advise that children practice deep breathing exercises and meditation in the early morning and before bed.
