This comes at a time when experts have stressed the importance of hydration to support healthy weight loss, explaining that without water, the body cannot metabolize stored fat, which is why weight gain may be a sign of dehydration.

Professor Nahid Ali, a nutritionist, agrees with this opinion, saying that coffee and water are powerful aids in weight loss.
