Famous rapper Mac Miller dies of drugs

Another victim, drugs are taking the flower of our youth from us. The American singer Mac Miller, who achieved fame thanks to hip-hop songs reminiscent of the beginnings of rap and those dealing with his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande and US President Donald Trump, died at the age of 26, according to American media.

The TMZ website, which deals with celebrity news, indicated that the young man died of an overdose of drugs at his home near Los Angeles.

US Magazine reported his death as well.

This death came months after the end of his two-year relationship with singer Ariana Grande, which received wide media coverage.

In May, shortly after their separation, he was involved in a traffic accident and was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

He was speaking out about his addiction problems and said in August on the occasion of the release of his fifth album, "Swimming", that his condition was improving little by little.

"Yes, I've taken drugs, but I'm not addicted," he told Rolling Stone magazine.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Miller was born Malcolm McCormick, who became famous for streaming music on the Internet as a teenager. His songs contained simple music with a strong rhythm reminiscent of the beginnings of rap.

In the year 2011, he composed a song on the subject of "Achieving a Great Wealth" and its title "Donald Trump".

The American billionaire, who later became president of the United States, welcomed the song, but admitted that "its words are a bit difficult to understand."

He called Mac Miller "the new Eminem" in reference to the famous white rapper.
