Prince William's godmother is resigning from her position in the royal family over accusations of racism 

Lady Susan Hussey, godmother of Prince William and assistant to Queen Elizabeth for XNUMX years, is resigning from her honorary position in the royal family, due to accusations of racism.

The reason is a conversation described as “racism” that took place between her and a dark-skinned guest, during a royal party at Clarence Palace, about domestic violence against women.

 

And media outlets, quoting a spokesman for Prince William, said that Mrs. Susan Hussey (83 years old) resigned, as she had asked the executive director of the “Siesta Space” charity, Ngozi Violani, about her origins, denouncing her being British, because of the color of her skin.

Social media was buzzing with the news, condemning her behavior and considering it racist, supporting Meghan Markle's position when she accused the royal family of racism.

One female reporter said, “I have known Ms. Hussey since I was 18 years old. She is a decent woman and definitely not a racist. She would often ask my mother about her origin because she spoke in a Central European dialect. Sometimes they think I'm not British because of the color of my skin and I'm never offended."
