Fashion colors and patterns this year

Zuhair Murad should be in oriental colors

What are the fashion colors for this year, what are the popular patterns and what season awaits us, it seems that the next season is very warm as well as the color fashion for the next season is rich and warm settled in oriental patterned fabrics, reminiscent of the radiance of precious stones and the luster of gold and diamonds. This is how the designer Zuhair Murad sees it in his collection of high-end fashion that he presented recently.

The colors of black, gold, silver, red, lilac, green, and orange were used by the designer in 51 looks that open the doors of the dream and invite us to live it each in his own way, through a group of designs titled “Illusions and Oasis”.

The African character and oriental touches clearly permeated the entire collection, whose designs were rich in diverse ideas and carefully occupied details. Ethnic prints added a distinctive elegance to more than one design, while chiffon, satin, and silk materials were adorned with a pattern that was executed with high craftsmanship and endless precision.

Zuhair Murad loves to travel and discover new places. A trip to Morocco, specifically to Marrakesh, inspired him to create a collection of haute couture fall-winter 2020.

Five tips for the look of Eid

In this context, he said: “Marrakesh is a paradise on earth, and I fell in love with it at first sight. It is a cosmopolitan city that combines heritage on the one hand and modernity on the other. It is similar to Beirut in its combination of contrasts, but it also differs from it in its own style.”

After Murad returned from his Moroccan trip to his Beirut studio, he decided to transform what he saw of heritage and beauty into luxurious views. The city of Marrakech enchanted him, as before him, the late French designer Yves Saint Laurent, who built a house surrounded by the famous Majorelle Gardens.

Henna drawings, and prints of oriental carpets turned into decorations that decorated fashion in which the modern character was mixed with traditional touches. The turban-inspired headbands accompany the outfits and add more distinction.
