Apple warns its users about vulnerabilities in its system

In two very important alerts, although they went unnoticed, Apple warned of vulnerabilities it discovered in some iPhone, iPad and Mac devices, calling on all its users to act as soon as possible.

And the technology giant has published this alert since Wednesday evening, calling for downloading the iOS 15.6.1.

The company also stressed the importance of updating those devices, especially the iPhone, in order to enjoy the new features of iOS 15.6.1, but also to install major security updates.

Although Apple released two security reports on the issue on Wednesday, they have not received much attention outside of technical publications.

While Rachel Tobak, CEO of Social Proof Security, explained that Apple's interpretation of the vulnerability means that a hacker can gain "full administrative access" to the device, which means that hackers can impersonate the owner of the device and run any program

Therefore, security experts advised users to update the affected devices, starting with iPhone 6s and newer phones; many iPad models, including 2th generation and later, all iPad Pro and iPad Air XNUMX models; and Mac computers running Mac OS X Monterey.

The defect also affects some iPod models.

While Apple did not mention in the reports how or when these vulnerabilities were discovered.

It is noteworthy that the latest update launched by the giant company (iOS 15.6.1) is available for free download on iPhone phones, and it will fix security holes that are exploited by some hackers or stalkers.
