Social media circulated a picture of the late director Hatem Ali, while he was at the hotel, his residence in Cairo, as his last appearance at the hotel.

Hatem Ali, who died yesterday morning, and the news of his death was a catastrophe. Hatem Ali died at his residence in the Cairo Marriott Hotel, after a severe heart attack.

The sources said that the director Amr Ali, son of the late director Hatem Ali, was with his father in his hotel room and left him at night and went to sleep and in the morning he returned to his father's room to find him dead.

Al-Rahhal’s body was transferred to the Zeinhom morgue refrigerator in order to preserve the body until he travels to Syria next Thursday, after completing all necessary procedures for his transfer.

At the Marriott Hotel, Jamal Suleiman, Samer Al-Masry, and Asala were present with his son and daughter until the death procedures were completed.

As for his wife, she had just traveled to Canada, and upon her arrival a day or two later, she learned of her husband's death and was taken to the hospital.
