A Jordanian man burns his house, his three children and his wife are in a critical condition

This morning, Wednesday, Jordanians were appalled by a heinous crime that claimed the lives of 3 children, after the father of a family with previous precedents set his house on fire after pouring a burning substance in the house.
The media spokesman for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, told the Arab News Agency that a person set fire to his house in the Wadi Al-Ramm area in the capital, Amman, following family disputes. An investigation was opened into the incident.

The Public Prosecution Office of the Jordanian High Criminal Court has launched an investigation into the murder of children, as sources confirmed that the civil defense teams found the bodies of 3 children: a 6-month-old baby girl, the accused’s daughter from his current wife, a 9-year-old girl and her 5-year-old younger sister, the two daughters of the accused. From a previous marriage, a prosecutor ordered the High Criminal Court to evacuate the deaths to the National Center for Forensic Medicine.
The husband is 45 years old and has a history. He and his 25-year-old wife were admitted to Al-Bashir Hospitals, and they are currently in the intensive care unit, and the doctors described their condition as critical.
Initial investigations indicate that there were personal differences between the spouses, which prompted him to pour gasoline on the contents of the apartment while the young children were sleeping.

The criminal laboratory team, which was present during the investigation of the crime scene, seized the “gallon” of gasoline used inside the apartment, and samples were taken from the children’s clothes and sent to the laboratory to determine whether the husband had poured gasoline on the children.
The forensic medicine diagnosed the causes of death with severe and vital burns, meaning that the children were alive at the time of the fire, and they are fourth-degree burns that have reached the stage of “charring.”
