1- Milk products, calcium-rich foods and calcium supplements interfere with blood pressure reducers and antibiotics that fight bacteria
2- Grapefruit: It interferes with cholesterol-lowering medications, allergy medications, and some blood pressure medications
3- Black licorice: medicines that regulate blood pressure, diuretics, allergy medicines, and special insulin to treat diabetes
4- Foods rich in vitamin K: leafy green vegetables, cabbage, broccoli.. They are incompatible with anticoagulants “blood thinners.”
5- Foods rich in thiamine: Smoked meats, chocolate, dried fruits, figs, eggplant, beans, spinach interfere with some depression medications and may cause high blood pressure.
6- Caffeine: coffee, tea, chocolate, soft drinks. Interferes with asthma medications, heartburn medications, antipsychotics, birth control pills, some depression medications, some blood pressure medications, and blood clotting medications
