The artist, George Wassouf, who is grieving the death of his son Wadih, revealed that he will return to his artistic activity, provided that his first work is a song for the late.

It is known that rumors circulated after the death of his son that he will retire from art.

And the office of the artist, George Wassouf, issued a statement thanking everyone who consoled him with his ordeal, apologizing for canceling previously scheduled concerts, and confirming his return to singing because the song remains with Abu Wadih, the truest expression of his pain.

And the statement said: “The artist George Wassouf thanks everyone who consoled him and stood by him at this painful stage, and apologizes for canceling his participation in the events, festivals and concerts that were scheduled for January and February due to the circumstances he is going through.”

And he continued: “Since the song remains with Abu Wadih, the truest expression of his pain, he will first of all have a date with a song for his late son Wadih, provided that he resumes work in accordance with his obligations at the end of February, appreciating his fans and followers who overwhelmed him with a noble passion that he will not forget, and asking God to He keeps these misfortunes away from everyone.”

It is noteworthy that the last appearances of the Syrian artist, George Wassouf, were on the occasion of the New Year’s Eve, when the owner of “My Soul, Nesma” performed a huge concert entitled Trio Night, along with many music stars from the Arab world, as part of the activities of the Riyadh entertainment season.

Wadih died after an operation in his stomach, on January 7, and his body was transferred from Beirut to his hometown in Kafroun, Syria, where he was buried in the family cemetery.
