New addiction in children

It seems that the danger is simply starting to creep into our homes, but more. It seems that we are buying what harms our children with our money. The World Health Organization has classified addiction to video games as a disease, just like addiction to drugs and gambling, according to what an official in it announced.
Video game disorders are included in the eleventh edition of the International Classification of Diseases.

"After consulting experts in the whole world (..) we saw that this disorder could be added" to the list, said Shekhar Saxena, director of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction at the World Health Organization.
According to the organization, this disorder "is related to playing video games or digital games in a way that the player loses control, and the game occupies an increasing priority for him above other interests and daily activities, and thus continue playing without taking into account the harmful repercussions."
To say that a person has this disease, his addiction to gaming must have affected his personal, family, social, cultural and work activities, and this must have been continuous for at least 12 months.
It comes to the tyranny of playing the primacy of food and sleep, according to Saxena.
