Reuse WhatsApp on multiple devices

The multi-device feature in WhatsApp has been discontinued for a long time, as this feature was allowing users to use the app on three devices simultaneously, but none of them can be a smartphone, however this may change soon.

According to a recent report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new companion mode - a feature described as "multi-device 2.0" that was recently spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.15.1.

And with companion mode, you'll be able to link another mobile phone to your WhatsApp account, and you know what the best part is; You do not need an active internet connection on your primary phone to send messages using the linked phone.

The feature may work similar to how WhatsApp for web works, where the chat will be copied to the secondary phone securely, and the process may take some time, as it takes when using the web or desktop companion.
