It seems that the destination of Elie Saab in this collection is distinct and unexpected, as the music that greeted the audience during the Elie Saab show, which was presented during the activities of Paris Fashion Week, was the first indication that the trip with the designer this time to the Far East. As for the first design with which he began his presentation, he confirmed that its direction is the country of China.

“The Elegant Orient Mystery” is the title chosen by Saab for a collection of haute couture for the fall-winter 2019-2020, which included 57 looks that painted the image of a strong woman, with legendary and inherited capabilities shrouded in mystery and attractiveness.

It is China with its greatness, its ancient civilization, its magical symbols, and its captivating mystery. It attracted and inspired the designer to offer looks with wide shoulders, exotic prints of plants and creatures of Chinese heritage that were embroidered with high craftsmanship and elaborately studded.

The look that opened the show was inspired by the ancient Chinese 'Hanfu' robe. One-shoulder dresses, loose-sleeved jackets, royal capes, and embroidered lace dresses followed.

The opulence of velvet and the radiance of satin and taffeta adorned the looks of the utmost elegance, while sheer, feminine materials participated in the game of light and shadow, giving the looks a touch of light and a luxurious, legendary aura.

The beauty of the looks was also evident through the fashion colors inspired by the gradations of precious stones, including ruby red, emerald green, sapphire navy, in addition to violet, black, silver and gold. For more luxury, the models' waists were decorated with wide belts in which leather was intertwined with metal.

Elie Saab's bride looked radiant in her wide golden dress, which was decorated with abstract embroideries and accompanied by an embroidered long cape.
