Fashion week..in Saudi Arabia

On the sidelines of London Fashion Week, it was announced today, Monday, that the first fashion week will be held in Saudi Arabia, which will run from March 26 to 31.
This step comes as a result of cooperation between the Arab Fashion Council and the British Fashion Council, with the focus this week on providing ready-to-wear haute couture known as Ready Couture.

The Arab Fashion Council opened a center in Riyadh at the end of last year. It is currently considered the largest fashion council in the world as it includes 22 Arab countries and is chaired by Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, who stressed the history and career of the British Fashion Council, as it will set an example for the Arab Fashion Council in the field of encouraging new designers and adopting a new global vision in the field of fashion.

The details of the executive management of the Arab Fashion Council belong to the fashion specialist, Jacob Abrian, who was keen to stress the need for this week to open several fields for young Arab designers, and to attract major international names in the field of fashion to participate in this event.

Lily bin Issa Abu Zaid, National Director of the Arab Fashion Council, stressed the importance of organizing this week at a high global level, in order to give an honorable image of the fashion industry in Saudi Arabia and revitalize the economic, tourism and hospitality sectors in the Kingdom.
