Unleash the madness with Valentino's looks

It seems that Valentino will continue to insist on his madness until his dream of a physical body of endless colors is fulfilled, as Valentino's show of ready-to-wear fashion for the spring and summer of 2019 began with a set of elegant black looks that combined the modern "casual" character with the high-end "couture" touches. As for the colors, they did not appear on the show until at a later stage in the form of looks that were decorated with red, orange, pink, white, and burgundy, and huge geometric prints appeared on costumes in which colors were mixed and touched by feathers and shiny details.

Presented as part of the #ParisFashionWeek, this collection included 67 dramatic looks that once again demonstrated the skill of the House's Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, in presenting fashion that simulates femininity in a modern way and approaches audacity without vulgarity.

On his inspiration, the designer of this collection revealed that these are the places where ancient artists used their imaginations to search for their true identities. He said in this regard: “You are always looking for an escape into new worlds, but personally I am talking about a way to build our own identity.” In recent seasons, Piccioli has built his own identity under the Valentino banner. In his new show, he was keen to develop this identity towards new horizons and higher levels of creativity.

The show opened with veteran model Kristen McKinami, 53, in a black taffeta gown. It was followed by 14 consecutive black looks, decorated with crepe, silk, feathers, leather, and #lace. The second part of the collection was rich in prints and bright spring color mixes. Large gold earrings, voluminous hats, and feathered sandals contribute to the identity of the elegant Valentino woman. Check out some of the looks from this group below:
