The Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the National Emergency and Crisis Authority stated that food outlets “cooperative societies, groceries, supermarkets” and pharmacies are excluded for a period of two weeks, subject to review and evaluation, provided that it is valid after 48 hours.

It was also decided to restrict restaurants not to receive customers and to only serve orders and home delivery.

All flights suspended

In addition, it was decided to suspend all passenger and transit flights to and from the Emirates for a period of two weeks, to be in effect 48 hours after the publication of the decision, subject to review and evaluation, in response to precautionary and preventive measures to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus “Covid-19”.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation said in a statement issued on Sunday night, Monday, that the decision does not include the necessary cargo flights and evacuation flights, while taking all precautionary and preventive measures in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.

And the Civil Aviation Authority stated that new requirements will be introduced for examination and isolation in the event of moving forward later to resume flights aimed at protecting passengers, flight crew and airport employees from the risks of exposure to infection.

On Saturday, the UAE announced a temporary closure of public and private beaches, parks, private and public swimming pools, cinemas and gyms designated for training temporarily, starting from Sunday, for a period of two weeks, subject to review and evaluation, in order to limit the spread of the Corona virus, according to what was approved by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the National Emergency Management Authority. crises and disasters.
