Celebrating Rihanna's Fenty Puma Fall-Winter 2017 collection with an elite group of guests of honor in Paris

Brand Director of Creative for FENTY Rihanna and global sports brand PUMA recently revealed to the fashion community around the world the third collection of the widely loved FENTY PUMA by Rihanna collection. For the rebellious and daring, this season draws its inspiration from the halls of FENTY University, paying tribute to the youngsters who act independently, transcend excellence lists, and even deal with the limitations around them with elegance and elegance.
Among the masterpieces on the shelves of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Rihanna and PUMA bring to life musical holdings: classic American social circles and bands - Nerds, Jukes, Skippers, Preppy's, Goose Kids, and of course, Bad Gals. "When I was in school, it was always my dream to be able to wear whatever I wanted," says FENTY's Creative Director. But in Barbados, it was mandatory to wear a school uniform, so this season I had a lot of fun creating these special 'back to school' looks, and I'm proud to display the squad in such a national stature.”
The collection takes the audience back to the halls of their high schools and colleges. Hand-woven wool jackets, PUMA spinning logos, and F jackets and dresses are on display. Layered pieces of all shapes and sizes dominate this season's look, with a wide selection of FENTYxPUMA coats in faux wool, faux fur, leather and nylon. Rihanna once again reinterprets the classic lines of sport by bringing a fresh look to kits, jogging suits, T-shirts and shorts with sporty fabrics and artistic touches. The sexy school skirts for girls, and elegant corsets for cheerleaders, attract the public's attention. So, the Punishment Hall had never looked so great before.
Signature details of the brand appear throughout such as Rihanna's lucky number 13, year of birth 1988, FENTYxPUMA zipper and FENTY PUMA buttons and touches. Unique patches and eye-catching sports decals add a distinctive sporty flair to the collection.
New developments of the popular PUMA shoes are reimagined with stacked soles and ankle straps. New heels, translucent bottoms, boots, woven and over-the-knee sneakers have never failed to impress the students. Oversized teddy bear bags, bouffant hats and accessories, cosmetic bags and message bags adorn the arms of this season's models, which also feature an assortment of stylish hats, masks, wraps and scarves. Collective necklaces keep these patterns as a must-have option with silk ties and distinctive collar jackets.
The idea for the FENTY PUMA by RIHANNA show for the Fall/Winter 2017 collection was conceived by Rihanna and her teams from agencies Project and OBO. The Paris collection of shoes, clothing and accessories will be launched across retailers around the world in Fall 2017. The show comes days before Rihanna's second season, and is inspired by what Marie Antoinette used to wear in the gym, which is starting to be available in stores.
