Looking for a father who anointed his child with honey and let the insects enjoy his torture

A tragic incident in a village in Qalyubia Governorate, northern Egypt, became the talk of social media because of its outrage, causing outrage.

A father tied up his young son, put honey on his body, and then left him prey to insects, under the pretext of discipline and revenge against his mother.

The Egyptian security services received a report from Walid Mustafa, the human rights official in the Civil Coalition for Human Rights, in Qalyubia, that an Egyptian woman confirmed that her husband tied his son to a piece of wood, stripped his body, anointed him with honey, and then left him as prey for insects.

A security unit moved to the place, and actually made sure of his health, as they found the child in a deplorable condition after insects had gathered on his body.

D, who lives in one of the villages of the Shebin Al-Qanater Center in Qalyubia Governorate, and is 7 years old. He revealed that the mother, after informing the police, took the child and fled to another village for fear of the husband's oppression.

Investigations also reported that the father was known for misbehavior in the area, and he used to torture and restrain his son and leave him on the roof of the house as prey for bees and insects, while the security services are intensifying their efforts to arrest him.
