First love wins with Wael Kfoury

Wael Kfoury is preparing to marry his first love after a 19-year separation, a Moroccan girl from outside the artistic community called Magda Alimos.

The wedding of the owner of “What I Promised You” to the Moroccan woman will take place in Cyprus on the 23rd of this month due to the difference of their religions, and attendance will be limited to witnesses only, due to the family’s opposition to that marriage, according to local reports.

The marriage was delayed between the two due to the lack of consent of the bride's family.

Reports also indicate that Magda accompanied Wael Kfoury to his party recently in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and she also went to his villa to complete the wedding preparations.

Lebanese newspapers also reported that Wael Kfoury gave Magda a luxury car as their wedding gift.

The couple's love story began in 2004, but the girl's family opposed their relationship, so they parted.

Love once knew

Wael Kfoury spoke about his love story twice, the first in 2005 in his interview with the magazine “Kalam Al-Nas”, when he said that he lives a love story with a non-Lebanese girl, to whom he dedicates most of his emotional songs.

And again, during his meeting with the media, Wafaa Al-Kalani, on the “Takhareef” program, where he said that he knew love in his life once, without mentioning any details.

Wael Kfoury recently separated from his wife, Angela George Bishara, after they got married in 2011.

It is noteworthy that Wael Kfoury from his ex-wife Angela Bishara caused a sensation, especially after the latter reviewed the value of alimony for her two daughters and ridiculed her for not being sufficient for their needs, by publishing a bank check of 6 million Lebanese pounds, equivalent to 300 US dollars.

It is known that Al-Kfoury's marriage was the most famous secret marriage in Lebanon, and the star has always been keen to keep his family very far from the limelight.
