French roosters shout victory in Russia's night

The French national football team won its second world title after defeating the Croatian team 4-2 today, Sunday, in the final match of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The French team ended the Croatian adventure, and French star Antoine Griezmann and his companions inflicted a severe defeat on the Croatian battalion at the famous “Luzhniki” stadium in the Russian capital, Moscow, to crown the Blue Roosters with their second world title two decades after winning the first title in 1998 in France.

In the first appearance of French striker Antoine Griezmann in the match, the player got a free kick outside the Croatia penalty area after being fouled by Marcelo Brozovic.
Griezmann played the free kick in the direction of the goal and the Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic tried to clear the ball, but he turned it with his head into the goal by mistake in a very difficult angle to the right of goalkeeper Daniel Subasic to be the goal of the French team in the 18th minute of his first real attempt on the Croatian goal.

The Croatian team intensified its attack in the following minutes in search of the equalizing goal, but it collided with the agglomerated and organized defense of the French team, which relied on its attack on the quick rebounds, taking advantage of the rush of Croatia in the attack.

The referee responded to the demands of the French players and resorted to the use of the video assistant referee (VAR) system, where the video referees asked him to watch the game himself, and the Argentine referee then blew the whistle, announcing the award of a penalty kick to France.
Griezmann hit the penalty kick in the 38th minute to the right of goalkeeper Subasic, scoring the first goal for the roosters.

The goal aroused the ire of the Croatian team, which rushed in the attack in search of the equalizing goal and posed a great danger in more than one ball, but suffered a lot of misfortune in front of the French goal, so that the first half ended with the French team advancing 2/1 despite the Croatian team's possession of the ball by more than 60 percent during this inning.
The Croatian team began the second half with consecutive offensive attempts, but the first chance in the match was a powerful shot from Griezmann from a distance in the 47th minute, which went into the hands of goalkeeper Subasic.
The Croatian national team responded with a quick attack, in which Rakitic exchanged the ball with Rebic, who ended the attack with a strong, surprising shot that Lloris kept with his fingertips over the crossbar.
The Croatian chances were many in the following minutes, but luck continued to be stubborn for the team.

In the 53rd minute, two fans went to the field, but were quickly taken out by security personnel, so the referee resumed the match.

The French team took advantage of the confusion in the ranks of its opponent, and scored the fourth goal in the 65th minute, signed by Mbappe.
The goal came when Lucas Hernandez manipulated the Croatian players on the left side and then passed the ball to the motivated Mbappe in front of the penalty area arc.
The excitement continued in the following minutes, and Mandzukic scored the second goal for Croatia in the 69th minute.
The goal came when the defense returned the ball to Loris, who tried to dribble Mandzukic in front of the goal, but the latter pressed him, so the ball hit him and wobbled into the goal.
The last third of the hour witnessed attacks and mutual attempts by the two teams and changes from their coaches, but to no avail. The match ended with the French roosters winning 4/2.
