Saudi Arabia reopens its doors at the beginning of August

The Saudi Ministry of Tourism announced the opening of the doors of the Kingdom to tourists and to allow holders of a tourist visa to enter the Kingdom, starting from the first of August.

She pointed out that tourists who received two doses of the vaccine can enter the Kingdom without the need to be quarantined, with the need to present the vaccination certificate upon arrival with a negative PCR examination that did not pass 72 hours.

It is necessary for visitors to the Kingdom to register the vaccination doses they received on the portal that was created for this purpose, in addition to registering them on the “Tawakulna” platform to show them when entering public places.

Earlier in May, the Kingdom allowed its citizens to travel outside the Kingdom under certain health conditions. In July, the Kingdom announced the creation of more than one million new jobs in the tourism sector, in the most vital sectors.

Earlier, the Kingdom warned its citizens against traveling to countries that were included in the list of banned countries, with a fine that could amount to a travel ban of up to 3 years.
