The Syrian child, Zain Al-Rafi, is the hero of the film Capernaum, directed by Nadine Labaki, and the winner of many international awards
Zain is the first Syrian refugee child to reach the world as the superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, where Salma Hayek announced, through her personal account, about his participation in her new movie, Theeternals.
His first appearance on the red carpet was with Nadine Labaki at the Cannes Film Festival and then the Toronto Festival, and he won several awards for his role with his discoverer, director Nadine Labaki.
And Nadine Labaki had previously said when bidding farewell to Zain when he traveled to Norway: I am confident that a unique future will await you .. because you carry all the strength and wisdom.
Labaki continued, "At that moment, Zain was a child who was expelled from his homeland, and everything he knew in his childhood. Zain was not Syrian, Lebanese, Norwegian, Christian, or Muslim.. He was a child paying the price for our ridiculous wars without knowing why they happened.”
"Zain cried...and said that he will miss his friends, the birds, and Beirut and his life there, despite the fear and difficulties."
Nadine Labaki wished Zain happiness in his new life, where he would go to school, to have a good learning opportunity.
