The body of a famous millionaire's son was found near the home of George and Amal Clooney
The body was found floating in the River Thames in England, during the search for the son of a millionaire who disappeared near the home of George Clooney last January.
Concerns have grown for the safety of Alexander Stern, 36, who was last seen leaving a bar near the Hollywood star's £12m mansion in Sonning, Berkshire, on January 11 this year.
Police searching for Stern found a body in the river, two miles from Charville, on Friday, January 3.
Although an official identification has yet to be made, investigators believe it belongs to the missing youth.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said today: "The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file is being prepared for the forensic investigator."
He added that Alexander's relatives have been informed and supported, and they wish to express their gratitude to the community for their support during this difficult period.
It is noteworthy that Alexander is the son of millionaire Ronald Stern, who is famous as one of the best Ferrari collectors in Britain.
Alexander was last seen on CCTV cameras leaving The Bull Bar, close to the Hollywood star's home, on January 11, after which he disappeared until this moment.
