Saudi Arabia showcases its vision with a distinctive pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The "Expo 2020 Dubai" exhibition is scheduled to start in October of this year 2021 AD and continue until March of next year 2022 AD, under the title "Connecting Minds .. Creating the Future", with the participation of more than 190 countries. In it, the Kingdom will present a distinctive pavilion within a building with a unique architectural design that makes it a beacon and a prominent landmark in the center of the exhibition area, with a large area of ​​13 square meters, and in an innovative geometric shape rising from the ground towards the sky, embodying the Kingdom’s ambitions and aspiration towards a prosperous future in which it is based on its solid identity and ancient heritage. . The design of the building was consistent with the highest standards of environmental sustainability, and it was awarded the Platinum Certificate in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design system. In designing the content of its pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, the Kingdom is based on four main pillars: a vibrant community linked to its roots, a long-standing national heritage, picturesque nature, and future opportunities. The pavilion also contains a huge screen that presents a continuous display of life in the Kingdom, while the side facades show a continuous flow of messages that reflect the values ​​of the Kingdom. The pavilion also presents at the first stop of the visitors’ tour the nature that reflects the environmental and geographical diversity in the Kingdom, which is represented by five ecosystems embodied in the green areas “Al-Bardani”, the coasts “Farsan Island”, the desert “the Empty Quarter”, the seas “The Red Sea”, and the mountains. Through an electronic window topped with 2030 scenographic crystals symbolizing the vision of “Saudi 2030,” the pavilion displays the Kingdom’s most important giant projects that are currently being worked on, such as the Qiddiya Project, the Diriyah Gate Development Project, the Red Sea Project, and other vibrant development projects based on Environmentally friendly concepts such as the King Salman Park project, and the “Green Saudi Arabia” and “Green Middle East” projects.

The Saudi pavilion includes an art exhibition entitled: “Vision”, which consists of a giant ball with a diameter of 30 m, multi-faceted with an interactive floor, which takes the visitor on a visual and audio journey to the essence of Saudi culture, designed by a number of Saudi artists.

The pavilion also includes the "Exploration" center, which is a platform for building investment opportunities and fruitful and diversified partnerships. Which contains an interactive digital table designed in the form of the Saudi map, and includes thousands of data on all aspects of life in the Kingdom, and has been classified into different groups that include art and culture, economy and investment, energy, nature and tourism, people and homeland, and transformation.

In the front garden of the building, the Saudi pavilion has placed a welcome and hospitality area that includes a digital water curtain of length 32 meters, equipped with many interactive units, allowing visitors to choose and display the decorations they desire based on the identity and nature of the Saudi regions.
