Smart glasses and their many features
Some people need to use glasses to protect their eyes because they spend a lot of time staring at screens, whether smartphones, tablets, laptops, and TV screens. Experts recommend using glasses with dedicated lenses to filter the light emitted from screens to maintain the health of the eyes.
Smart glasses and prescription lenses
According to New Atlas, multifunctional smart glasses have recently been created that can filter blue light and even ultraviolet rays in order to reduce negative effects and maintain healthy eyes. The innovative glasses also integrate Bluetooth-compatible audio receiving technology with smartphone and computer devices while maintaining a stylish and decent look.
The uses of the new glasses are not limited to just protection from blue light emitted by various screens or as sunglasses that protect against harmful rays, but their lenses can be replaced with medical lenses according to the measurement of vision for each user on the same frame and with the same technologies simply.
Two headphones and two microphones
Other features of the smart glasses include their water-resistant designs that can be worn in the rain, as well as easy-to-use touch controls, mini two-way speakers, and two built-in microphones that allow for phone calls or during online business meetings with voice or audio and video.
Some types of smart glasses have the ability to connect via Bluetooth to any device within 10 meters and work for up to four hours of continuous audio communication per charge. The glasses case includes a charger for its batteries, which in some products have a power of 1300 mAh.
Video and photo camera
For more uses, smart glasses equipped with Bluetooth technology and connected to an electronic application have been developed to download videos and photos that are recorded or photographed with just the press of a button on one of the arms of the smart glasses.
To take a picture, there is a capture button on the right arm and a touch-sensitive surface that does dial, play, and volume controls.
Despite the obvious privacy concerns, this is probably the most unique of the smart glasses, and despite the lack of an augmented reality display, Facebook has opened up its plan to create one in the near future.
