Angelina Jolie puts Churchill painting up for auction 

Angelina Jolie has offered a painting owned by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, for the Katiba Mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco, at a public auction.

Angelina and her ex-husband Brad Pitt bought the painting that Winston Churchill gave to US President Franklin Roosevelt from Marrakesh in 2011.

The painting, signed by Winston Churchill during his visit to Morocco, entitled “The Tower of the Katiba Mosque”, will be displayed at Christie’s auction house in a large auction dedicated to the most important contemporary British artists, and its value is estimated at about $3.4 million.
