For the 'Princess Grace' Charitable Foundation, on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in the Stars Hall at Monte Carlo Sports Club

Her Royal Highness, Princess of Hanover, President of the Princess Grace Foundation, hired her friend Karl Lagerfeld to design and direct the 2018 edition of the Bal de la Rose event. The fruit of this collaboration is a unique creative world inspired by New York City, specifically Manhattan.

The mention of New York is linked to the image of the picturesque landscape of this ancient American city's skyline.

So, in celebration of Manhattan glamour, Karl Lagerfeld has thought of French cartoonist Jean-Jacques Simbi for his creative track record and subtle artwork that has graced the front pages of The New Yorker. Thus a perfect horizon was created based on the initial sketches of the famous French artist.

The result was a stunning ceremonial hall with unique decorations that give visitors the opportunity to dive into it as if they were watching the scene from a skyscraper in the heart of Manhattan.

As for the tables, they are decorated with gray and pink satin fabrics, with rich bouquets in the middle of the fragrant roses, giving the place a character full of shades of pink.

The stage will reflect in its dimensions the paths of the rich musical diversity of New York, the capital of world music and the birthplace of jazz, blues and other creative genres that established an unparalleled elite artistic eclecticism.

Her Royal Highness The Princess of Hanover has requested that American blues artist, Henry St. Clair Fredericks, nicknamed the Taj Mahal, be the star of this new edition of 'Bal de la Rose'.
This round-the-clock evening will feature the richest styles of Manhattan from jazz to hip-hop, featuring the Pokemon Crow, a regular at the most prestigious dance competitions, as well as the famous disco duo of the XNUMXs Ants and Adam Co-founders of the music label Madman Regent. Visitors are on a date with an unparalleled artistic party.

This confluence of the masterful world of ballroom designer Karl Lagerfeld and the creative imaginations of Simbe with the music of the Taj Mahal allows for a harmonious blend that recreates an extremely distinctive image of the vibrant Manhattan area.
