A tower suspended by an asteroid in the sky in Dubai

The New York architecture firm has unveiled its revolutionary skyscraper designs that will be out of our world.

The “Analima” tower was considered the tallest building in the world, as it would be suspended by an orbiting asteroid orbiting 50 km above the Earth. Only 8 hours.

The innovative model was designed by the office of Clouds Architecture, which is the mastermind behind proposals to build the Mars House and Cloud City.

The company explained that the innovative design will use a system called the "Universal Orbital Support System (UOSS)", which connects a high-strength cable to an asteroid, as it hangs toward Earth to carry the tower.

Clouds Architecture office wrote on its official website: “The new design of the suspended tower allows it to be built anywhere in the world and transported to the final site. The proposal includes the presence of the tower above Dubai, which has proven to be a specialist in building tall buildings at a fifth of the cost of building New York City.”

And while some have questioned the company's ability to capture an asteroid to complete its project, the office of Clouds Architecture believes that this idea will not remain a concept in science fiction films.

The tower travels 8 routes over some of the major cities in the northern and southern hemisphere, including New York City, Havana, Atlanta and Panama City.

Clouds Architecture said: “Analima tower can be placed in synchronous orbit, to navigate within a daily loop. The tower will move at its slowest speed in the upper and lower parts, as the orbit will be calibrated to the slowest part of the track over New York City.”

The large tower will be divided into different parts in terms of function, to be work offices in the lower part of the tower, and other sections will be equipped for sleeping and dining with shops and entertainment venues.

The architects plan to take full advantage of the skyscraper's location, to place solar panels at the highest levels to generate solar energy.

Residents will receive fresh water from cloud condensation and rainwater, which will be collected and purified, and windows will be equipped with controllable volumes to deal with pressure and temperature differences.
