Many of the natural phenomena that occur perhaps daily in our world, and that the globe witnesses, may have an impact on health, and we do not know. Among those phenomena that greatly affect human health are magnetic storms and solar eclipses.

A Russian expert explained how magnetic storms and solar eclipses affect human health, in the form of illness symptoms that may be severe at times.

According to what was reported by Russian media, Dr. Ekaterina Demyanovskaya, a neurologist, said that natural phenomena affect the nervous system, and attributed weather sensitivity to disorders of the autonomic nervous system.

She added: “It is believed that weather factors lead to minor changes in the body that affect the autonomic nervous system.” Therefore, even healthy people, during geomagnetic storms or solar eclipses may experience undue stress, increased anxiety, sensitivity to physical pain and other external factors.”

Demyanovskaya pointed out that changing the geomagnetic field can affect the condition of the walls of blood vessels and blood clotting.

“It can slow blood flow in the capillaries, and increase pressure inside the joints, eyes and skull,” she said. “So during a geomagnetic storm, sensitive people may complain of high or low blood pressure, dizziness, headaches, and pain in the eyeballs and joints.”

She pointed out that estimates indicate that approximately 70% of strokes, myocardial infarction, high blood pressure, and heart attacks occur specifically during geomagnetic storms.

According to her, a solar eclipse poses a danger to people suffering from heart arrhythmia, osteoporosis, neuromuscular diseases and kidney disease.

“The determining factor is the speed of the eclipse,” she said. “The faster the eclipse process, the greater its impact on people from the risk group.”

We highlighted it a few days ago The phenomenon of magnetic storms and how they affect us without us realizing that they are the cause. A Russian expert warned of magnetic storms that occur at frequent intervals, stressing that they could cause major health problems.

Internal medicine physician Savinich Aliyeva added, according to what was reported by Russian media, that “it is possible that symptoms such as insomnia, headache, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, and joint pain may appear during a magnetic storm.” She also added that people react differently to this phenomenon, as some suffer from drowsiness, others suffer from psychological and emotional disturbances, and may suffer from panic.

It is noteworthy that scientists are warning of a full wave of magnetic influences this October. In particular, it peaks from October 25 to 27, and from October 29 to 30. Experts identify these magnetic storms through the activity of the sun, which is now very high, and may have reached the maximum of the current solar cycle.

Solar storms are generated as a result of the intersection of magnetic fields that result from the movement of plasma within the body of the sun, which is a major component of space weather. The plasma begins to rotate inside the sun, resulting in intense magnetic activity called sunspots.
