A few days after the accident of the Moroccan child Rayan, who fell into a well in the Chefchaouen province, a five-year-old child, yesterday, Monday, in the Sabt El Ghaba region, threw himself into a deep well, killing his life.

Residents of the area reported that the child was affected by Rayan's story and tried to imitate the incident, believing that the matter was not dangerous, according to the Moroccan "Hespress" website.

Also, one of the residents said that the authorities arrived at the place and retrieved the child's body from the well four hours after he fell, noting that the depth of the well reaches 57 meters, and includes engines inside, one of which hit the child's head.

Yesterday, Monday, with the participation of thousands, Morocco had buried the body of the child Rayan, whose story occupied Morocco and the region, for 5 days of rescue efforts that led to the child’s exhumation, but then he had passed away.

It is noteworthy that the 5-year-old child accidentally fell last Tuesday, into a well of a narrow diameter and which is difficult to descend into, in a village in the Bab Bard area near the city of Chefchaouen.

Hopes remained to get him out alive, but they dwindled over time, as rescue teams began a complex process since Wednesday to reach him and encountered several difficulties, according to what the local authorities explained over the past days.
