One of the biggest upgrades Apple has made to the iPhone 15 has just appeared, nearly 6 months after the phone's launch.
According to some new versions on the Apple Support website (monitored by BGR), iPhone 15 batteries can last much longer than previous models, according to what Al Arabiya Business reviewed.
Apple said iPhone 14 (and earlier) batteries can retain “80% of their original capacity at 500 full charge cycles under ideal conditions.” The same page said that the iPhone 15 battery can retain 80% of its capacity at 1000 charging cycles.
The most important thing to know is that the iPhone 15 battery can survive twice as many charge cycles as the iPhone 14 in the best conditions. Apple defines a “charging cycle” as using an amount of battery that “represents 100% of the battery capacity.” This can be done over several days, depending on the time you choose for delivery.
You can also check the battery capacity in your iPhone's Settings menu, under the "Battery" section, if you're interested in knowing how your phone is performing.
The point is, the iPhone 15 got a major battery health boost and Apple hasn't thought to mention it yet. But in the end, it's better late than never.
