Meet the fashion of 2050

While we wait for fashion every year, Balmain thirty-three years leaps forward to shorten time and travels us forever forward, Olivier Rousteing, the creative magician at Balmain, who depicts his dreams in every detail. At 32, he is behind one of France's most prestigious fashion houses, and has his own army of models and a follower of 4,7 million on Instagram.
The Balmain Army has traveled through time as it came to us from the year 2050, on a journey from the future to the present. In his fall-winter collection, Rousteing wanted to convey his vision of the future with 90 looks that combine the sci-fi quirk and the glamor of the 'XNUMXs.

To accentuate this futuristic atmosphere, Rousteing uses glossy leather and PVC, as well as aluminum-leaf effects, 4D sequins, and neon strings. He divided his presentation into XNUMX sections, each of which embodied his pioneering vision in the field of fashion.
The first section of the show included 25 looks dominated by silver, white, light gray, metallic pink, and blue. As for the second section, it was dominated by the monochromatic character of black and white. The third section of the show, which included about 30 looks, was decorated with bright neon colors, while in the fourth section we witnessed the tyranny of the black color, which was only broken by some silver touches.

Tight dresses, jumpsuits, and voluminous shoulders, as usual, haunted Balmain's outfits. The ruffles that were adopted in innovative ways appeared in addition to the long pleated skirts and the wide trousers that were coordinated with short jackets at times and long coats at another time.
