There are no miraculous recipes in the field of anti-wrinkle, but some procedures can delay their appearance according to dermatologists, as some simple daily habits help delay skin aging if they are applied consistently.

1- Protect the skin from the sun

Ultraviolet rays are the first enemy of our skin, as they cause damage to its tissues, increase its sensitivity, accelerate its aging and can expose it to skin cancer, and to avoid the dangers of golden rays, the skin must be protected daily by using a sunscreen cream all days of the year.

Dermatologists recommend not neglecting the application of this cream on the ears, neck, and the back of the hands, as these are sensitive areas that we do not always remember when applying sunblock, and they can also develop early wrinkles, dark spots, and even skin cancer.

2- Using retinol

Retinol is known to be an anti-aging ingredient that aids in cell renewal. It also enhances the firmness and elasticity of the skin, which contributes to delaying the appearance of wrinkles.

And dermatologists advise using retinol-rich care creams since the age of 25, and they recommend that it be used at night only to avoid any sensitivity that may appear on the skin when exposed to the sun after applying it.

3- Get enough sleep

Adequate sleep means between 7 and 8 hours of sleep every night, as the skin needs this allotted time only to boost the production of collagen and elastin, which ensures the firmness and suppleness of the skin in addition to protecting it from early wrinkles. To increase the benefits of sleeping on the skin and delay the appearance of wrinkles, doctors recommend adopting a sleeping position on the back, which also fights sagging skin.
