New case of child molester in Egypt I was joking!!!!!!

On Tuesday, the Egyptian Public Prosecution confirmed, in a statement, the identification of the child victim of sexual harassment, at the entrance to a Sunday Real estate In the Maadi district of Cairo.

And local Egyptian newspapers, quoting security sources, reported that the girl, a tissue seller, had been working in the area for two years with her mother.

Activists on social platforms had circulated a video described as “disgusting” for a person in an elegant suit who molested a 6-year-old girl and touched sensitive parts of her body, after luring her to a building.

During the investigations, the girl said that the accused told her of his "intention to buy some tissues, and then she entered the property with him," according to local newspapers.

In the video, a woman appears to have seen what is happening on the surveillance camera, to confront the harasser, who quickly left the girl, to escape, while he pretended that he did not do anything, and in front of the woman facing him and pointing to the surveillance camera, the man evaded the confrontation and walked away.

This video clip sparked a state of anger in the Egyptian public opinion, and the hashtag ("child harasser") was issued on the communication sites, amid calls for the arrest of that man and bringing him to justice as soon as possible.

Subsequently, the Public Prosecution confirmed the arrest of the accused, who indicated in the investigations that he separated from his wife six months ago and has two children, adding that he did not intend to do so, "but was joking with the girl," according to what Egyptian newspapers reported.

The accused added that he works in a real estate company and is 37 years old.

The Public Prosecution indicated that the place from which two women came to the rescue of the girl, after she saw the incident on the monitors, is a lab on the ground floor of a property in Freedom Square in Maadi.
