Joe Biden receives the first dose of the Corona vaccine

On Monday, US President-elect Joe Biden received live in front of television cameras the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

Biden received a dose of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine at a hospital in Newark, Delaware. Biden's transition team announced that his wife Jill, in turn, received the first dose of the vaccine on Monday.

Biden said after receiving it the syringe “I do this to show people that they have to be ready to receive the vaccine when it becomes available...there is no need to worry.”

On the other hand, Trump has not yet announced when he will receive the vaccine.

Trump contracted COVID-19 at the beginning of October and was hospitalized for three days. Since then, he has repeatedly declared that he has "immunity", while confirming that he will receive the vaccine in time.
