Joe Biden receives the first dose of the Corona vaccine

On Monday, US President-elect Joe Biden received live in front of television cameras the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

In addition, Biden said that vaccines are a great hope for us to get rid of the pandemic, calling on Americans to adhere to the rules during the holiday period, and to avoid unnecessary travel.

Biden received a dose of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine at a hospital in Newark, Delaware. Biden's transition team announced that his wife Jill, in turn, received the first dose of the vaccine on Monday.

Biden said after receiving it the syringe “I do this to show people that they have to be ready to receive the vaccine when it becomes available...there is no need to worry.”
