190th Anniversary

For 190 years, Guerlain has made Guerlain By exploration, innovation and glorification. To celebrate nearly two eras of innovation, Guerlain has chosen Guerlain Tell her story and highlight her legacy through the iconic bee flask.

Created in 1853 by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, the Paris-inspired design recalls the lines of the Place Vendôme column and the scalloped motif at the top of the column. This design comes adorned with a series of small bees, like a set of royal emblem seals.

Since the creation of the Bee Bottle, it has been produced by the French glassmaker Pochet& du Couvral, synonymous with excellence and craftsmanship.

Available in a special transparent version for this occasion, the bottle is adorned with a dazzling silk thread that celebrates the mastery of time-honored Guerlain artisans. Their meticulous craftsmanship has formed the foundation of the Maison's reputation and is a long-standing source of pride.
