Q: Mr. Jacob, we are very happy to meet you here in Dubai, and to celebrate the great success of Jacob & Co. Tell us about you. From a teenage immigrant with his family from Uzbekistan to America, tell us what was your dream? And what did Jacob Arabo believe in at that time?

A: I was a teenager when I arrived in America from the Soviet Union, as many like us immigrated, and I had a big dream, at that time my father found me a summer job, as a photographer, professional photography that stirred in me the desire to be a designer, and I actually insisted on my dream, I learned design in Courses, and here I am in front of you, and I have achieved my dream.
I always went against the wind, thinking the unthinkable, and success was my ally every time.

Q: What was the first piece of jewelry designed by Jacob Arabo?

A: I was working in a factory for the manufacture of jewelry, and one day I had a few leftovers of fashioned jewelry, I decided to design a different piece with these wastes, and I stayed up all night, and the next morning I showed the owner of the factory the piece I designed, which was the Bango bracelet, This bracelet has won the admiration of many and the demand for it, and this was the first piece of jewelry that I designed myself.

Q: When did Jacob Arabo design the first watch?

A: I designed the first watch in 2001 and it was also the first time that the Jacob & co name was printed, as my brand was known before that as Jacob the jeweler.

Q: Jacob and co has become one of the brightest and most luxurious watchmaking houses in the world, but when it comes to making these ultra-luxury watches, where does Jacob Arabo choose raw materials and rare stones?

A: When it comes to Jacob & co, we never bet on quality, we choose the best of everything, and where do we get these materials from, from nature, from Australia, Africa, from all over the world, especially when it comes to colored stones, it's about The best quality and presentation, not the place.

Q: I designed a lot of watches and jewelry for the world's brightest and most important names and personalities
What distinguishes Jacob & co in this field?

A: I design jewelry according to the personality of the person who will wear it, for every person has a character and personality that distinguishes him, for example, I designed a palm for the star Madonna, it was made of gold and diamonds. I am inspired when I see the person, and evoke the creativity of embodying this person with a unique piece of jewelry that reflects who that person is.

Q: I started designing watches in 2001 and has seen unparalleled success since that time. What made Jacob Arabo choose watch design?
